Thrilled I get to post my part of @ghostsharkpress βs transology zine before pride month ends. Our prompt was to recontextualize a formative childhood cartoon through the lense of transness/gncness.
These are thoughts Iβve had spilling around in my head for a while and seeing how important Treasure Planet was for me as a kid I thought it would be perfect. I always struggled with the fact I donβt really have any older male guide or figure to learn myself from so as a kid I tried to mimic the masculinity of shows or my peers. Growing older and wanting to step out of boyhood has really been a journey of self discovery and self worth and Iβm really proud of the person Iβm becoming.

My full piece for @ghostsharkpress's Transcartoonology! It's genderfluid Card Captor Sakura!οΌΎβ½οΌΎ - I tried to use the full range of colors in the genderfluid flag for all the background pieces, and modified a couple of their outfits from the series. Overall super happy with the result!

I joined the zine "Transcartoonology" by @ghostsharkpress this year aaand in March i finished this two page comic!
The task was to pick a cartoon from your childhood and review it through the gender lense, so i took my favourite two Digimon Adventure characters and made this. This show aired when i was a kid and i still remember the feeling it gave me, so it was very fun to revisit and make my own versions of the designs. :> Also Gatomon is my alltime fave and i still have her plushie. I mean!! they got to be angels!! ofc i liked them. :D
Before pride month ends, I wanted to share my contribution to @ghostsharkpress 's newest zine, Transcartoonology! My comic was about the experience of passing that all trans people brush shoulders with at some point in their lives, and how that affects our actions and day to day lives. Thanks so much to Ghost and Shark and all the amazing artists for helping this project get made!! can't wait for you all to see it <3
